About Fable Forge Studio

We make narrative games that take culture seriously.

Based in Dubai (DMCC). Lebanese-led. Seven people across four-plus countries. Building Threads of Light as our defining first IP.

Why FFS exists

The MENA region has had no shortage of stories worth telling. What it has had a shortage of is the kind of narrative-AA studio willing to spend years on a single one. Fable Forge Studio was built to fill that gap, on our own terms, in our own home.

The combination of Arabian Peninsula photorealism, an Otherworld shaped by the protagonist's subconscious, and a mental-health mechanic that drives gameplay rather than dressing it — these three pillars are the founding creative thesis. Threads of Light is the first proof of it.

How FFS works

We are seven people across Dubai, Europe, Latin America, and MENA. We work distributed, we work with cultural consultants, and we work on a single IP. No work-for-hire. No second project until this one ships well.

Vertical slice complete in January 2026. Demo public in December 2026. Full release Q3 2028. Until then, our quarters are measured in puzzles solved, not features shipped.
